Are you sick of prompts yet?
I’ve been sending you guys a ton of prompts, and I’m aware those can get redundant.
I’m doing my best to toe the line between covering everyone because we’re at a point in AI marketing skill-building where there is such a wide distribution.
Some people legitimately have barely touched AI tools and some live in them daily.
Oh well, guess we’re still early.
But fret not, AI Copywriting Pro sub, I will be sharing a lot more thinking on how AI tools like Claude and ChatGPT can fit more snugly into your process.
Copywriting is mostly research anyway, and writing is one teensy weensy part of that process (albeit an important one).
Stay tuned in the coming weeks / months as I am excited to talk more about when NOT to bring AI into your process yet.
This is relevant to you if you work full-time at a company, work with clients, sell your own offers exclusively, have built your own SaaS product, the list goes on.
There are certain “intangibles” that are simply not written down once you get the hang of these models. You start to really get a sense of what it’s god-tier at and also…
What it’s dogshit at!
So consider this a teaser email that I will be sharing fewer templates and more thinking and experience of when using AI is actually counterproductive and when it is productive, and knowing when to pull it in and when not to.
This is a very important topic that we have barely scratched the surface of, but it is an important one nonetheless, just like prompting, context setting, iteration, data curation, knowing how to train the models, etc.
More soon,
Brooks
P.S. Want to talk through how you're prompting ChatGPT / Claude? I do paid 1-hour sessions where we can answer any questions about AI for copywriting, VOC data, prompting methodology and examples across email, web copy, social & blogging. We'll work through your specific challenges and I'll show you what's actually working for me.
