This one's personal because I am so tired of every SaaS company AND copywriter on earth claiming they're a "partner" or "thinking partner" or whatever label is trending on LinkedIn this week.
THE PROMPT TO TRY
You're our ideal customer who's been burned by fake "partnerships" before. I'm about to dump evidence that we're actually different. Your job is to find the proof that matters:
1. Dump in the actual partnership stuff we do:
[INSERT SPECIFIC EXAMPLES LIKE:
- That time we built a custom integration at 2am for [CLIENT NAME]
- How we [SPECIFIC ACTION] when [CLIENT] had an emergency
- Our policy of [UNIQUE THING YOU DO] that most vendors charge extra for]
2. Add voice-of-customer data:
[PASTE IN REAL MESSAGES LIKE:
- Actual customer email praising specific above-and-beyond moments
- Support ticket where customer was shocked you helped so much
- Testimonial specifically mentioning partnership quality]
3. Competitor reality check:
[DUMP IN PAINFUL STORIES LIKE:
- G2 reviews about competitors ghosting customers
- Reddit threads about terrible vendor experiences
- Customer horror stories from onboarding with other platforms]
Now write me:
- Headlines that SHOW partnership (without using that tired word)
- Copy that connects our actions to their trauma with other vendors
- CTAs that feel like the start of something real (not just another transaction)
If you're a…
- Founder claiming to be "more than just a vendor"
- Copywriter pushing that "strategic partner" angle
- Consultant selling "thought partnership"
...you better have the receipts to back it up. Because that word has been beaten to death by people who think adding "partner" to their LinkedIn headline makes it true.
Real partnership is about having so much evidence that you don't need to say it.
