I've been obsessing over this list of real B2B buyer objections lately (the "but what about..." and "yeah but..." responses that kill deals).
And I built a prompt that helps catch them before they wreck your conversion rates.
THE PROMPT
Help me catch conversion killing gaps in this copy:
1. Urgency/Priority
- Where are we ignoring "not a priority" thinking?
- How clearly are we showing the cost of waiting?
- What immediate wins are we highlighting?
2. Implementation anxiety
- Are we transparent about setup time/effort?
- Have we mapped the onboarding journey?
- Where's our "it's easier than you think" proof?
3. Social proof stacking
- Which claims need more backup?
- Where could customer stories dissolve doubt?
- Are we showing scale/adoption clearly?
4. Internal champion celeb shot
- What ammo does our champion need?
- Where's our "sell it to your boss" content?
- How are we making them look smart?
5. Cost justification
- Is ROI timeline crystal clear?
- Where are we comparing cost vs value?
- How are we framing budget discussions?
For each section flag the following -
- Which top 3 objections does this answer?
- What objections might this accidentally trigger?
- Where's the proof for every claim?
- How fast are we addressing core doubts?
Watch especially for these silent killers -
- "Just send me info" (are we compelling action?)
- "We're fine as-is" (is the pain clear enough?)
- "Too swamped right now" (is our easy button visible?)
Help me weave in objection handlers that feel natural, not defensive.
Flag any places we're leaving money on the table.
I run this on:
- Landing pages (duh)
- Sales emails
- Onboarding sequences
- Demo booking pages
- Pricing pages
When you start seeing all the questions you're not answering... oof.
Can't unsee it. But better to catch these holes yourself than wonder why qualified leads keep ghosting you.
